The grandkids!

When we are young and have little children, all we seem to talk about are the children. When you get old, all we talk about is the grandkids. There is one little difference - when they are our children, the silly things they do, seem big and we have to teach them something all the time. When we talk about the grandkids, the silly things the grandkids do are just that silly, and they don't seem to be so important. In fact, they make our lives more pleasant.



Logan spent the night with us a few weeks ago. In the middle of the night when he was crying because he wanted to sleep with papa along with his pillow, bear and blanket, it was cute and I put him in bed with papa. When he went back home and wanted to sleep in bed with his parents, along with his bear, pillow and blanket, Jeff and Carly didn't think he was very cute anymore.



When Madelyn wet her pants, her parents told her they couldn't by her a baby they had promised her if she stayed dry, and she said it is ok, I will call grandpa and he will buy me one. We laughted and thought she was cute. Her parents didn't see it though the same glasses. Age brings new things to all of us. But the best is to see children they way we should see them - One of the greatest creations on earth.
