Life goes by fast!

I can't believe I have been so bad--two months since I have put a post on this blog. I keep wanting to add pictures and I am never home to add them. This summer has proved to be different than I had thought it would. Ashley decided to spend the summer home instead of leaving for the summer. That helps to make a little more noise in the house. Not much, but she laughs at us once in a while. Jeff and Carly and Logan moved in for a few weeks while they waited for their new house to be vacant. I don't know if they enjoyed it, but we did. And Logan loves the golf course. Every night it was papa play golf. And what Grandpa could tell his grandson no to golfing. Our neigbor gave him a little club just his size and he thought it was great. Jeff and Carly got moved into their house last Wednesday and today we were blessed with a new baby girl. Savannah Lynn Pendleton. Weighing in at 9 lbs. 6 ozs. and 21.5 inches long. She was a big girl. I am so excited to see her. That brings us to 5 grandchildren. Crazy, but a lot of fun.

Joseph received a new calling in his ward on Sunday. He was sustained as 2nd Counselor in the Bishopric. I guess maybe I should say Amy, Joe and the kids have a new calling. I know that proud isn't the right word, but at the same time, I couldn't be more pleased and honored to call them all my family. They are doing the right things and are receiving great blessings.

James found his sweetheart to spend eternity with this spring. Her name is Katy Gush and she is a sweet heard. They will be married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 5th. Katy, we are happy to have you join the family.

So for Bryan and I that thought we were going to be empty nesters, summer has proved to be a little more exciting. We plug along with the daily grind and enjoy the evenings with our kids

Good job on hiding the fact that I am your favorite by writing the shortest amount about me... and most of it was about Katy!! Its ok I still love you.

James may think he is the favorite, but tell him that the truth is those 5 little rug rats running around trump all of the four of us, so if he wants to join the ranks of favorites, he better do it by his posterity!! JK! We love you and are glad that you allow us to interrupt this otherwise quiet time in your life! Madi woke up this morning and said, "okay, let's go to Grandmas!" I said we aren't going for a couple more weeks and she said, "but I want to see Grandma, and Ashley and Papa!" We are really looking forward to coming and are glad Joseph is going to allow us to leave him for 2 weeks.!!
