I have been laid off for 2 weeks now. Funny that I don't feel a great hurry to find a job. Unemployment does help.
So what have I done. My mom and sisters came and we tied 2 full size quilt and then had enough fabric for a baby quilt. I tied the baby quilt and finished binding one of the big ones and the baby one. It felt good to do something for someone else and not be so focused on me (These were for the humanitarian effort). I cleaned a few cupboards that were screaming for help. I read a book. I have send many hours job hunting-thanks to craigslist and job services. Mostly on line thought. I am sure I would do better it I actually left my home. I went to the temple, have tried to catch up on my sleep. I have exercised at least 20 minutes everyday and read my scriptures.
And no, I am not bored.
Maybe I will count it as a tender mercy from the Lord. Thanks

You always sound so upbeat. You are such a talented woman. I personally have been a recipient of many of your talents. So have many others. I think one of the challenges of life is finding the right balance and knowing God's plan for us individually. I wish you many blessings in your new chapter.
HEy,thanks for stopping by last Sat! We had a blast! You two are the bestest ever! I can't believe that we only spent a short time together 18 years ago in good ole Wyo and our friendships are still going strong. That just proves that kindred spirits, once found, can't be broken!!!! (let them try to lay that off) Love you too!
