Trip to Sheridan!

A last minute decision took me to Sheridan. Amy and Joe had a business trip planned to Vegas, so Lori and I took off to tend the kids. It is a fun experience to enter a home with 4 kids that love you. They are always so excited when we go. It makes me feel so loved.

I wasn't very good at taking pictures so I don't have any to post. But we had so much fun I can't go without a post.

Lori and I are out of practice with 4 kids and it took both of us to keep going.

The first day we were there, the day went great. Kids in school. Madi did preschool. Then 3:00 hit. The kids came home and Emma had a soccer game 4:00. We had to hurry and get things done to be there on time. We were out the door at about 20 minutes to 4. We got into the car and ready to pull out when we realized that we had locked out selves out. Amy had taken the keys with her and we had locked the doors. But we were having fun so we went to the game and worried about it later.

Thank's to Amy's friend Matt, we broke into the house and were in before dark. We always are building memories.

On Saturday, we took the kids to the dollar store. We had a mission. We told them we were going to buy 3 things. Something to play with, a craft we could do and a treat. We had a great time looking at all of the fun things we could buy. After an hour, we picked punch balls, hats to paint, and caramel for apples. We had movie night and played lots of games.

Thanks Kids for putting up with us.

Thanks kids for having fun with us.
