Restful Day in Bismark, ND

Rather than return home to Utah on Thursday evening after my trip to Atlanta as I normally do. I took a detour through Minneapolis and eventually ended up in Bismark, ND. Now I'm sure you're asking yourself, why would he do something so strange. It's gets even better. After Bismark comes Mott, then off to Buffalo,WY to get picked up by my daughter and grandkids for a Thanksgiving Holiday with the family (they are driving up to meet). Let me try and explain why I would do something so crazy.
Sometime ago after a company meeting sitting at our usual Chinese restaurant enjoying our after-meeting lunch, a colleague who also is an avid hunter/fisherman got talking about his different trips recently taken (owns multiple locations i.e Alaska, San Juan, etc.) and happened to mention pheasant hunting in ND. I have been to UT, ID, NE & KS hunting those beautiful ring-necks but never ND and he said I hadn't hunted pheasants till I hunted them in ND (supposedly the pheasant capital of the world). A few days later he sent me a YOUTUBE video and I was determined to make a hunting trip happen. Well many months later after plans were made, commitments discussed, phones calls and e-mails to family members, I'm here. Can't wait to add some photos and videos of my own.
Since I arrived last night and the rest of the hunting party not till later today. I thought this post would help pass the time. Hope you enjoy.
