Lessons Learned!

Life has a way of repeating experiences that hit you in the face.  Sometimes they hit harder than you would like, but hopefully the second time it hits, you learn your lesson.

Recently I had an experience that was a repeat from many times in earlier years, but with different people.  This time the shoe was on a different foot and a different audience.

But the problem was, I hadn't made a plan. I had told myself I would never let this happen again.  And not to people I loved.  But I did!  Slap in the face bad.  How could I let this happen.  Life came spinning around in a whirl wind I couldn't stop.  You think you can, but you can't.  The more you talk, the worse it gets.
GOD STOP THIS PLEASE!  My heart was breaking but I couldn't stop it.

Now I know what I will do if it ever happens again. I hope it doesn't but if it does, I learned from 2 great examples what I should do.  The plan is in place and I will stop it before it gets big.

But the bigger question is, how do I make it right again?  How do you mend a fence with someone you love and make it right?  Life is to short to live with regrets. But when you have regrets--what should you do?
