Primary program 2nd year running!

Arrive at the chapel 1 hour early to make sure everything is ready for the practice on Saturday morning.
Can't find the chairs for the little children.
Find out the the microphone for the pulpit doesn't work--no one knows why.
Don't stress--we can use hand mikes.
Can't find hand mikes.
10:00 time to start.
2 children there ready to start.
15 minutes later 35 of 80 in attendance- OK for a Saturday.
None of the children have their parts ready.
Oh well, move on to music.
Half way into practice power goes out.
Call Bryan and tell him to hurry with the donuts.
Bryan says sorry, but I am stuck in the accident that made the power go out. I will hurry.
End practice --no light, no sound, no donuts.
Play Simon says in dark kitchen until Bryan gets there with donuts.
Should I cry yet?
Sunday morning--children arrive--most on time!
Parts and music were prepared--SURPRISE!
Look out into the audience and watch parents cry as children sing "If the Savior stood beside me" PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life is good!

Isn't that the way it is with service to the Lord. We do our part, and it doesn't seem to work, then HE takes over and makes up for the rest--and whoo la It's all worth it. We have the best BOSS in the world.
